  • SAFELY WORSHIP SEMINAR: Colwood Church - Caro, Michigan

    Although not exactly a Digital Empowerment Project event, I wanted to promote a SAFELY WORSHIP training seminar that is being hosted by Colwood Church on September 7th, 2019. The seminar starts at 10am and concludes at 3pm. We will have a 1-hour lunch on your own networking session. The cost to attend the seminar is $25 per attendee.     I will be presenting a free and open to the public Digital Empowerment for Parents event on September 14th, 2019, at St Marks United Methodist Church in Findlay, Ohio. The event starts at 6:30pm and the address is 800 S Main Street.

  • PERRYSBURG SCHOOLS: Digital Empowerment for Teens / Parents

    I first presented at Perrysburg Schools several years ago while I worked for the Wood County Sheriff's Office. I now get to bring the Digital Empowerment Project to this fantastic school district. I will be speaking to the students (5th through 10th grade) during the day and parents in the evening. As soon as the logistics are worked out for the Digital Empowerment for Parents event I will post the details. Thanks Perrysburg for inviting me back!

    Although we are still working out the details, The Chapel in Sandusky, Ohio, will be hosting a Digital Empowerment for Parents event. The address of the church is 4444 Galloway Road. Please check back for the finalized information but you are encouraged to mark your calendar early!

  • LOGAN COUNTY LIBRARIES: Digital Empowerment for Parents

    For the first time, I get to travel to Bellefontaine, Ohio for a Digital Empowerment for Parents event at the Logan County Libraries (Knowlton Library). The event is free and open to the public (no children please). The address for the 5:30pm to 7:30pm event is 220 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. No reservations are required.

    I get to return to Bowling Green! I am super excited to be presenting a Digital Empowerment for Parents event for Bowling Green City Schools (I graduated from BGHS many years ago!). This free event is being held at the Bowling Green Middle School Media Center (1079 Fairview Ave) and is from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

    The Harris-Elmore Genoa Libraries are sponsoring two CUTTING THE CORD ON CABLE presentations that are free and open to the public. Both events are being held from 12pm to 1pm.   • OAESA SECOND IN COMMAND DEANS AND ASSISTANTS INSTITUTE CONFERENCE: Keynote Speaker

    I am slated to be the Keynote Speaker for the opening session of the SECOND IN COMMAND DEANS AND ASSISTANT INSTITUTE Conference which is being held on November 6th. The conference is part of the Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators annual conference series and this year's conference is featuring the topic of Digital Empowerment and Digital Citizenship. The event is being held at the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center in Lewis Center, Ohio. Wow, I am excited (and honored).

  • WAUSEON EXEMPTED VILLAGE SCHOOLS: Digital Empowerment for Teens/Parents

    I have been invited back to Wauseon Exempted Village Schools for a Digital Empowerment for high school students and parents! I was there in November of 2018 and I couldn't be more pleased they have asked me to return. We do not have the location/time details worked out for the parent event, but the date is booked. Check back for more information soon.
